My Favorite Boudoir Poses to Try at Home

Nothing compares to having your boudoir session done by a professional photographer. At our Montana boudoir studio, I’ll be able to create the perfect lighting environment, backdrop scenery, and I’ll be taking your images with a high-quality camera. However, practicing poses at home before your photo shoot can be a super fun way to prepare yourself for session day and have some fun in the bedroom!

Now, not all poses are easy to do on your own because you might need some guidance getting in and out of them. So, I thought it would be fun to share with you 5 of my favorite poses to try out at home. You can use a tripod to take these or enlist your partner or BFF to help you out!

Enjoy ;)

This pose is best done on a couch, chair, or bed that’s not too far off the ground. Make sure that your knees are together and then drop your chest and lower back. Then, arch arch arch and snap away! You can look away from the camera or look down your body line towards the camera.

For this pose, get on your knees on the bed or floor and hold your shirt just high enough so we can see some under-boob! Push that booty back behind you and look toward the camera with your mouth open slightly! This one is a showstopper!

This is one of my top requested poses and I am sure you can see why! It’s such a flattering angle. Start by facing the wall and then reach your hands above you while you press your chest into the wall and your booty back behind you. Don’t forget to look up at your hands and get all your hair behind you.

This is such a great pose to do with your parents favorite team’s jersey, or a white button up! Simply sit on the bed slightly leaning towards one side of your body, have your legs bent with your to leg more bent than the bottom, and smile facing the camera! This pose is one of my top picks for our metal wall art pieces! It’s a fabulous wall art option because it’s family friendly but still sweet and sexy!

This one is a little more complicated to do but if you get your boo involved they can help you get the angle just right. Start by kneeling on the ground with one hand on your chest pulling on your shirt and the other hand up in your hair. Pull your top elbow in toward your centerline so your arm is covering your eye and then turn that smize on! You’ve got this babe!
