What is Boudoir or Intimate Photography?

Boudoir photography is the capturing of beautiful and intimate images with a sensual undertone. Clients book a boudoir session because they feel the need to rediscover their beauty and sensuality and feel better about themselves.

Boudoir is so much more than putting on pretty lingerie and taking pictures.

A boudoir session is more than a photo shoot. It is about unleashing and embracing all the emotions that embody your femininity. It’s an EXPERIENCE. The Discovery Call

This informational call takes about 15 minutes and allows me to have a better understanding of what you are looking for in your session! It’s a great chance for us to connect and brainstorm ideas plus you will get the rundown on how your session will go. I offer glamour, boudoir, intimate couples, and maternity sessions. You will have a choice of locations from my stunning studio, your own home, or in the great outdoors.

Book the Date

I schedule sessions Tuesdays-Friday and 1 Saturday a month. Your session is about 3 hours. Each session includes up to three outfits plus nudes if you would like. Trust me…do the nudes! I suggest you book at least least 2 months prior to when you need your gift. I am scheduling sessions 3-4 months out but do not hesitate to reach out because I will do my best to make your session happen. To book your session, I require the full retainer to hold your specified date and this can be paid via credit card, or cash.

Hair and Makeup

All of my sessions come with hair and makeup, not because I think you need it, but rather because nothing feels better than being taken care of by a professional! My mission is to celebrate you as the woman you are, so your makeup and hair will bring out your assets, but you will still look like your gorgeous self! So sit back, relax, and let the amazing artists from Capital Hill Beauty and Bridal work their magic.

The Photoshoot

This is a fully coached experience and NOT a photoshoot for models. You don't need to know how to pose.. I'll guide you every step of the way from helping you choose your wardrobe, to tips on how to prepare, we'll take care of your hair and makeup, and then coach you through the entire session. I will even demonstrate the poses for you, making sure you know exactly what to do!

The Reveal and Ordering Appointment

After your session, we will take a short break (about an hour) and then you will return for your reveal! This is when you will see your photo gallery (about 50-80 images) and choose your favorites to purchase. You can purchase off the ala carte menu or pick from a collection. I have these products at the studio so you can see for yourself how incredibly luxurious they are! Payment plans are also available.

The Fun Stuff

Your boudoir session is an investment and your products reflect this. I have a number of different options to suit your style and budget. Gorgeous albums, wall art, and novelty items all filled with your fabulous images. From the time of your reveal to the time you receive your images is approximately 3-8 weeks and digital products are ready within 1 week of your session!
