Let’s Chat

A phone consultation is like a first date…

You’ve read my profile/website or found me on social media and decided to give me a chance.

Or you’ve heard about me through a friend or a friend of a friend and have also decided to give me a chance.

No matter how you’ve come across our boudoir shoots, I recommend booking a phone consultation so you can have all the facts that are specific to your wants and needs, and see if boudoir photography is right for you.

During a phone consultation, we discuss what to expect before, during and, after your session.

Before:

Set a clear intention on what you plan on getting out of your session. This is important because it’ll help you maintain focus and will help ease any nerves that come up about trying something new.

I know trying new things can be scary but isn’t that the fun of it?

Preparation is the key to making sure that you have a fun session.

We’ll talk about wardrobe options that fit in your comfort zone. That’s right. You don’t have to wear lingerie or strip down if that’s not your style.

Your photo shoot should ultimately be an expression of you so we’ll also talk about makeup and grooming…

Should you get a haircut for the shoot?

What mani color will look best?

How far in advance should you book an appointment?

Should you wax or shave?

We can get into the nitty-gritty of how to prepare and I can offer advice plus recommendations on what is best for you.

As always, express your comfort level and what brings out your confidence so we can be on the same page to get the most out of your session.

During:

Here is where the magic happens!

We take inventory of the outfits you brought and coordinate some photo shoot-worthy looks.

Once you’re all done up like a million bucks and in front of the camera, I can coach you through the poses.

All pose recommendations are custom to you.

We can adjust your hand, clothes, hair, and more so you look your absolute best.

We’ll highlight your favorite things about yourself.

And you’ll come out the other side of shoot time a whole new woman!

After:

After your shoot, it’s time to talk about how you want your images to be displayed.

How many photos do you want?

What size do you want them to be?

What do you want to do with the photos?

How many photos will you need to create a memento that you can’t wait to share with your special someone?

I offer some different albums, photo sets, and gifting options. But it’s important to know what you have in mind!

Like any first date, we also talk about the financial side of things.

I offer a variety of payment plans to make my services accessible for all.

You can read more about them here.

After we chat through all the details, we’ll look at our schedules and pick out a session date if you are ready to book!

Everyone deserves to treat themselves to some boudoir photography!

And if our first date goes well (I’m betting it will)...Fingers crossed...

Our second date would be our photo shoot.

And I’m really looking forward to a second date.
