When we are young and we have an idea, we just act on it with no fears or self-doubt. As we get older and start to filter all our thoughts, we tend to look for external validation before acting.

If you have little ones in your life, you will likely know what I am talking about. Of course, this is what keeps us alive, safe, and able to function in society, but we can also look for external validation for things that don’t really need any validation at all!
